N°2, Walken (Intérieur droit)

Having joined the Falcon Furious in December 2022, I’m the youngest pilot in the formation. “Currently finishing my aeronautical engineering studies at ESTACA, I’ve always had a passion for aeronautics. Having some free time last summer, I decided to take my PPL, which I managed to do in less than 3 months. Being part of the Falcon gives me great pride, representing the colors of France and above all trying your hand at PAF exercises, it’s quite something! “

N°3, Linor (Intérieur Gauche)

First name: Thomas
Username: Linor
Position : Intérieur gauche
Date of birth : 15.06.1993

When I was 5 years old, my father took me up in the air with him on my birthday. Aboard this little yellow-and-blue ultralight, a Skyranger, I took to the skies for the first time. The bug was passed on, and it was between microlight flights and simulation sessions on IL2 sturmovik and then Flight Simulator 98 that I discovered the world of aviation. I followed my father’s aeronautical career throughout my childhood, which led me to long sessions of mechanics in the hangar when we were building our RANS Coyote, or at various airshows such as La Ferté Alais or Friedrischafen. When it comes to simulators, I’ve always flown alone, whether in combat with IL2 and DCS or on Flight Simulator, which I think I’ve flown from FS98 to FS2020. And it was shortly before the Covid that I met the Escadrille. I discovered multi-person flying and later formation flying.

It’s a pleasure and an honor for me to be part of the Falcon, and I find the skies quite empty when I’m not accompanying them. I’m very fond of aerial combat, and never turn down a dogfight.

Simulation experience : IL2 Sturmovik, FS 98, 2000, 2004, FSX, FS2020, DCS, War Thunder, Combat Flight Simulator

N°5, Esox (Leader Solo)

First name: Benjamin
Position : Leader Solo
Date of birth : 21.04.1997

Real-life aeronautical activity: Living near the BA-701 Ecole de l’air in Salon-de-Provence, ever since I was a child I’ve been treated to the almost daily parade of aircraft on base, including the Grande Dame.
But it was thanks to my older brother, a passionate aeronautical artist and painter, that I was able to get up close and personal with the Patrouille de France, during training, validation and the last performance on base.
I was lucky enough to fly both light aircraft and microlights (controls in hand), even if the total of the three flights lasted less than three hours. These are moments I’ll never forget, especially a flight with a former PAF pilot with his microlight!

Simulation experience : Combat Flight Simulator II – Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X – FSX – War Thunder – DCS – MSFS 2020

N°6, Vador (Second Solo)

Username: Vador
Name: Pierre Cousteix
Position : Second Solo
Date of birth : 13.10.2000

As a student at an aeronautical engineering school, I’ve always had a passion for aeronautics and dreamed of becoming an airline pilot. I’ve also been a great admirer of the Patrouille de France since I was a child, and it’s with great pride that I’ve been part of this team for over 2 years. After a season as a right outside pilot, I’m now delighted to take up the position of second solo in the Patrouille’s rear box.

Simulator experience: After clocking up over a thousand hours on FS2004 and FSX, I took the plunge on FS2020 and immediately appreciated the multiplayer aspect of the sim, and being part of the Falcon Fuirons is the best way to enjoy it.

Actual experience: PPL in progress

N°7, Titty (Extérieur Gauche)

Username: Titty

Real aeronautical activity: Airline pilot – Business aviation – 4700h of flight time
Simulation experience: Flight Simulator 2000, IL2 Sturmovik, Lock-On , MSFS2020

N°8, Paulus (Extérieur droit)

My passion for aviation comes from my two grandfathers, both of whom had careers in aeronautics, one at Eurocopter, the other in the French Air Force. So I’ve been immersed in it ever since I was a child, and not a day has gone by when I haven’t thought of something to do with aeronautics.
When I was 13, I was given an introductory flight in a HR200 at the Aix-en-Provence airfield. This feeling of freedom reinforced my conviction that I wanted to spend as much time as possible in the air. So I started training for the Brevet de Base, followed by the PPL, which I obtained when I was 17. I’ve always dreamed of a career as a professional pilot, and 2024 will mark the start of this long adventure.
On the simulator side, it’s been 18 years since I received FSX, and my 4th year on MSFS. In 2020, I joined the Escadrille, a group of enthusiasts who regularly got together to fly. After a few months, a desire to create a virtual patrol was growing in each of the members, so we initiated flights in close formation.
Being really enthusiastic about what we were doing, we formalized the name of this team, which has continued to grow, perfect and become what it is today: the Falcon Furious.

Equipe de réserve

Alphathos (Reserve pilot)

At the age of twelve, I received my first flying lesson at the controls of my uncle’s Beechcraft.
The virus was inoculated and has never wavered since.
Many years spent working on maintenance documentation for AIRBUS Hélicoptère aircraft enriched my knowledge of rotary wings, despite my preference for fixed-wing aircraft.
But the most important and rewarding part was undoubtedly my short career in the French Air Force.
Maintaining aircraft such as the Skyrider AD4, TBird T33, Flamant MD 311 and 312, Fouga Magister CM 170, Mirage 3 and 5 of all types led me to the Alpha Jet.
Since joining the French Air Force in 1979, this exceptional aircraft has landed me in the highly prestigious Patrouille de France, where for six years I flew it all over Europe and abroad, including the first North American tour.
300 flying hours on Alpha Jet and 200 hours on Mirage 3b, Fouga Magister, T33 and other Transall and
Nord Atlas, to name but a few.

So, to make this dream even longer, flight simulation continues to keep this virus alive!

Zelenka (Reserve pilot)

Username: Zelenka
Name: Michaël Gonzalez
Position : réserve
Date of birth : 05.02.1990

Computer engineer. Passionate about nature and aviation since the age of 10, I discovered aeronautics in the mountains, where the majesty of the landscape combines with the aerial sweep of tourist planes and the mythical PGHM and Civil Security. These fields, which may seem so distinct, are nonetheless so close, in a world where mankind is inspired by nature to fly and contemplate.
Today, I’m very proud to wear my country’s colors by sharing this passion.

Real aeronautical activity: none to date (except for first flights in airplanes, helicopters and paragliders).

Simulation experience: Flight simulator (~ 2500, 3000h), IVAO (~550h including 200 in airfield control)

Mécano & Cameraman

Gizmo (Mechanic & Cameraman)

First name: DeelAv
Position : Mechanic and cameraman
Date of birth : Unknown (all we know is that it was there, three thousand years ago, when mankind collapsed).

As a mechanic, I’m responsible for ensuring that our aircraft are always in perfect condition to take on the wildest challenges in the air. My passion for engines and aircraft drives me to constantly strive to improve our aircraft, which gives us an undeniable advantage in competitions.

But I’m not content to stay on the ground. As cameraman, I’m responsible for capturing the most breathtaking moments of the patrol’s flights. Thanks to my keen eye and artistic flair, I’m able to immortalize the grace and power of the planes in flight, adding a touch of epic to the squadron’s exploits.

I’m always ready to take on new challenges and push back the limits of aeronautical technology. For me, being a member of Falcon Furious embodies the spirit of adventure and innovation.
